Join us for an afternoon at Gemaal op Zuid with talks, presentations, video-screenings and Q&A’s. During the event we will take a look at how different urban realities and notions of home are represented and expressed in the projects and practices of our line-up of guests, friends and friends of friends. Crossing the geographies of Rotterdam, Istanbul and other elsewheres we ask: how do we relate to the idea of home and make visible everyday realities, where do discussed examples and experiences overlap; what can be learnt? How could new images and imaginations of home be rendered visible, while at the same time the place of home is being contested?
